There’s no need to pay upfront. Once the job is complete, you’ll receive an invoice and have 30 days to settle it, offering you flexibility and peace of mind. Or you can send a booking link to your tenant or landlord and they can pay for the selected cleaner themselves.
Frequently Asked Questions
If there’s an issue with the cleaning, you can raise it through our system and attach pictures. Cleaners are required to reattend within 48 hours, rectify the issue, and provide updated pictures of the corrected areas. If the cleaner cannot reattend, we’ll send a replacement cleaner and cover the costs ourselves, ensuring the job is completed to your satisfaction.
We thoroughly check cleaners’ online reputation, references, and previous work experience. We also welcome new cleaners to join us. For those with less experience, we start them with private customers who agree to discounted rates. After 10-20 successful bookings with positive feedback, we grant them access to business customers. Additionally, we retain copies of their ID, proof of address, and right to work in the UK.
Most cleaners have their own public liability insurance. For those who don’t, we provide general public liability coverage. This ensures that you and your customers’ properties are protected in case of an accident.
Joining Cleanifiq is currently free. By signing up now, you’ll receive a "Legacy" account, guaranteeing no subscription fees for life as long as you complete at least 60 jobs per year. If a fee is introduced, we’ll notify you in advance, and you’ll have the option to accept or decline before any charges apply.
We understand that cleaning payments may sometimes depend on rent or deposit schemes. If payments are delayed, we’ll follow up with reminders to ensure cleaners are compensated for their work. Our terms include a 10% late payment fee, which cleaners are entitled to claim if payments are withheld for unreasonable periods.
You can do either! Every business customer gets a dedicated account manager who works as part of your team. They can handle everything for you, including creating bookings, scheduling emergency jobs, rescheduling, and managing extra tasks like replacing bulbs or fitting mattress protectors. You’ll also receive before-and-after pictures and invoice edits when needed. While you can book online, this personalized support is included as part of our service.
Cancellations are free if done before the cleaner begins traveling. We understand that sometimes bookings are made as a precaution, and the property may not need cleaning on the day. However, if the cleaner is already en route to pick up keys or to the property, a minimum call-out fee (usually £35 to £100, depending on the cleaner) will apply. This fee is displayed at the time of booking.
